The Department of Biology warmly welcomes international students and staff looking for a mobility period in Pisa.
The mobility can take place within the Erasmus + programme, the Visiting Student , Visiting Fellow and the Free Mover programme.
Students wishing to attend classes in the Bachelor or the Master degrees and to obtain ECTS credits towards their academic curriculum may apply for an Erasmus+ mobility for study, provided that their sending institution has signed a bilater agreement with the Department of Biology.
Students wishing to obtain credits for traineeship either before or after their graduation may apply for Erasmus+ traineeship provided that their sending institution has been awarded the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education.
Students form insitutions without a specific agreement may apply for Free Mover programme and obtain ECTS credits.
Students may also apply for a Visiting Student position without any requirement for bilateral agreement.
DEPARTMENT OF BIOLOGY AT A GLANCE
The Department offers three Bachelor degrees taught in Italian (Scienze biologiche, Biotecnologie, Scienze naturali ed ambientali), five Master's degrees taught in Italian (Biologia marina, Biologia applicata alla biomedicina, Biologia molecolare e cellulare, Conservazione ed evoluzione, Biotecnologie molecolari) and two Master's degree taught in English (Neuroscience, Biotechnologies and Applied Artificial Intelligence for Health).
UNIVERSITY LINGUISTIC CENTER

STAFF MOBILITY
The mobility for staff can take place within the Erasmus + programme or the Visiting Fellow agreement.
In any case staff wishing to come to Pisa for their international mobility must contact a teacher of the Department of Biology who acts as a supervisor.
