Elective classes

As optional credits, Students can freely choose courses offered by any Master’s Degree of Biology and Biotechnology that are not mandatory for their own curriculum, without any further authorization.

The only requirement is that the chosen elective classes must be taught in English.

Here is a list of elective classes available for academic year 2023/20

Students interested in one or more elective class(es) must contact directly the Lecturer within one week from the beginning of the lessons. Students may find the email address and phone number of the Lecturers on the search engine of the University of Pisa (UNIMAP).

NOTICE: an elective class will be shown on the timetable of the lessons only if the Teacher has been contacted by the Students who have expressed their interest to participate to the course.

To choose any other course, Students must submit a motivated request to the Teaching Unit (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) for approval by the Council of the Master’s Degree, before taking the exam (we advise to send the request even before starting to attend the course).
