Title: Anti-inflammatory microglia reprogramming as therapy for retinal neurodegeneration

This project’s aim is the selection of metabolic modulator molecules which might induce an anti-inflammatory effect on microglia cells, and the development of nano- and micro-formulations of the selected molecules with the purpose of improving their tissue distribution and their therapeutic efficacy.
