VISITING GRADUATE STUDENT TRAVEL AWARD
Seeking for applications from senior PhD students who are interested in attending the 17th annual Wisconsin Stem Cell Symposium on Wednesday April 19, 2023. Selected scholars will attend the conference and spend an additional day meeting with UW faculty to learn about postdoctoral opportunities in stem cell biology. Scholars will learn about a wide range of topics in stem cell and regenerative biology, including cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, neural regeneration, blood stem cell research, and stem cell bioengineering. Deadline: February 1, 2023

CORSO 2020 IN RESEARCH PROFESSIONAL SKILLS
La settimana del 16 maggio comincia il corso 2020 in Research Professional Skills per le studentesse e gli studenti di Dottorato.
Il corso, pensato con un forte approccio active-learning, introduce le studentesse e li studenti ad alcune competenze fondamentali per fare ricerca; in particolare, a come scrivere un articolo scientifico, come cercare e usare la letteratura scientifica, agli aspetti etici e legati ai diritti legali relativi all’utilizzo della letteratura, a come valutare il valore delle pubblicazioni e infine a come presentare i risultati della propria ricerca attraverso una presentazione orale.
