NEWS 28.07.2020 : It is now available a call for applications to assign n. 23 positions for tutoring activities in order to facilitate freshmen students of the Department of Biology to enter the university environment. Due to the Coronavirus emergency, lessons and didactic activities will be organized differently for the first semester of a.y. 2020/21. 

Here you will find updates regarding services provided by the Department, where to find further informations on the course and who to refer to.

Access to the course: the oral test required to access the course will be held exclusively online with Microsoft teams. For further information regarding the content of the test and how to apply please visit the page Admission to the course”.

Teaching method: for the first semester, all the lessons of the course will be provided with in- person teaching activities that will also be accessible online for students unable to be physically present on campus. There will be no penalization for those students unable to attend lessons in class. This teaching method will be applied both to the first and second year courses. 

The lessons will be provided according to the timetable available “here”, where you will also find instructions to access the online platforms. 

Tutoring: to smooth the entrance in the university's environment for a.y. 2020/21, a tutoring service will be activated, especially for freshmen students,  in order to help them settle in and facilitate access to informations regarding the university and online teaching. Students will be able to take part to two weekly meetings, scheduled in the timetable and organized in small groups. The meetings will enable the students to be supported by both professors and qualified staff members on accademic, administrative and social matters. Laboratories and field lessons: these activities will be in-presence with students’ shifts. Each professor will provide further information regarding the logistics and scheduling.
